Chonburi, Thailand is home to Austhai Marine – a company that emerged as the leading manufacturer of series production power catamarans in Thailand.
Austhai manufactures both recreational cats and work boats. Our work boat range includes dive catamarans, dive liveaboards, ferries, water taxis, and patrol and rescue boats.
Our unique hull design and flexible layout options have proven popular with our customers. So much so, that most come back to order more boats!
Austhai has achieved many milestones and has established an enviable reputation for the design, quality and performance of its craft. The company has delivered over 100 power catamarans to customers all over Asia, Indonesia and Africa.
All of our production catamarans are designed by the prominent Dr. Albert Nazarov and his team at Albatross Marine Design.
In 2022, the boatbuilding operation of Austhai Marine became part of Group Island Spirit. This opened up the opportunity for Austhai to transition to the next level of manufacturing capacity. Apart from continuing to build the Austhai range of power cats, the company also builds Island Spirit sailing catamarans.
Highly skilled and specialized staff have been added to the production team to allow for increased production. Austhai was already recognized as a leader in the industry and the addition of the Island Spirit range of catamarans further enhanced that reputation and enabled the company to offer an increased range of models to its customers.
