Group Island Spirit Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

Effective from August 1st 2020, the boat building operation of Austhai Marine Co., Ltd has been sold to Group Island Spirit Manufacturing Co., Ltd, a member of the Group Island Spirit group of companies.

From a management viewpoint, there will be no change as both Pim and Ray will stay on in their respective management roles and the administration and manufacturing teams will remain intact.

This sale opens up the opportunity tor a transition to the next level of manufacturing capacity. Apart from continuing to manufacture the Austhai Marine range of boats, the company will now additionally manufacture the Island Spirit range of sailing catamarans. Highly skilled specialized staff have been added to the production team to allow the company to manage increased production.

Austhai Marine is already recognized as the leading manufacture of series built power catamarans in Asia and the addition of the Island Spirit range will further enhance that reputation and enable the company to offer an increased range of models to its customers.
